| Congolese Rumba Rhythms with Soukous
Legend Dominic Kanza Dominic Kanza is well known for his guitar-based fusions of Congolese music and rumba riff. He has worked with musicians such as Paul Simon, Papa Wemba, and Jazz legends Pharaoh Sanders, Michael Brecker and Bill Laswell, and his band has performed in venues throughout NYC. For this performance, Mr. Kanza brings a pared down version of his band to the Cornelia Street Cafe for an evening of acoustic music. |
